Indochina is the peninsula in southeast Asia lying southwest of China and East of India. The region includes the countries of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. It includes some of the least engaged people groups in the world.
Over 624 million people inhabit southeast Asia. Of the 1,839 people groups in the area, over 735 of them are considered unreached or unengaged. Over 50% of the population has never received Christ or even heard the name of Jesus.
This expedition specifically targets a new region of Indochina where e3 Partners is just beginning its ministry. Over 98% of the people groups in the area are considered unreached or unengaged. This will be our first effort to reach the area, focusing on the development of new local partners who will become the foundation for our future work. This team will lay the groundwork for years, even decades, of missionary work in a part of the world that has been largely untouched by Christians.
