About this trip

Adventist Health leading a global mission trip with the Oregon network to Fiji from October 24 through November 1, focused on strengthening healthcare delivery through partnership, education, and compassionate service. This multidisciplinary team will collaborate closely with Colonial War Memorial (CWM) Hospital in Suva, the nation’s main referral hospital, providing nursing education, hands-on clinical training, and support in supply chain processes to help build sustainable systems of care. In addition to hospital-based work, the team will extend care beyond the city center by hosting community outreach health clinics in surrounding communities, offering vital screenings and medical services to underserved populations. A key emphasis of these clinics will be diabetes care and advanced wound management, directly aligning with Fiji’s major public health initiative to reduce preventable amputations related to diabetic complications. Through education, clinical support, and community engagement, this mission seeks not only to meet immediate health needs but also to empower local providers and communities for long-term impact. If you are interested in being part of this meaningful work, serving alongside dedicated professionals while making a tangible difference in global health, we would love to have you join us.
