Baseball Camp mission trip

Hamburg, Germany

July 14 - 24

Cost: $1800 (mostly just airfare + team gear; lodging and meals provided by hosts)

Location:  Schenefeld - a suburb of Hamburg, Germany

Purpose:  To partner with a local German church to reach out to their community with the Gospel.  Baseball fascinates young Germans and is an ideal outreach.  We share fun American culture and traditions which also draws people in.  The church prepares for this year around and counts on the outreach as a key piece to their ministry strategy.  

Requirements:  

• Knowledge of baseball helpful but not required (most Americans know a lot more about baseball than the average German);
• A desire to work hard to serve the church in reaching kids and teenagers
• Enthusiasm & enjoyment in meeting new people in new cultures
• Adaptability - while camp is very well planned things can change on the fly
• Willingness to represent Jesus and the church with excellence - even in the face of fierce competition!
