Where We're Going
Surrounded by stunning mountainscapes and dense forest, Siquirres is a small town of 31,000 located in the heart of northern Costa Rica. This sparsely populated region offers many opportunities to meet local Costa Ricans and learn more about their culture.
Costa Rica itself is an ecologically-rich tropical paradise with a booming tourism industry and growing technology sector. While the people have long dealt with poverty, its government is growing increasingly stable, providing many new opportunities to share the Gospel in a land where less than 15% are believers.
What We're Doing
On this expedition, we will offer free clinics in communities where few can afford basic medications or preventative care. Residents will receive free exams and leave with basic drugs and vitamins. Meanwhile, we will hold presentations on practices that can improve community health conditions.
Through this outreach, we will have the opportunity to share Christ with many Costa Ricans in the area. As individuals come to faith, they will be organized into small groups that will serve as the foundation for new churches. This is your chance to spread the Gospel and serve people's basic needs in a beautiful and culturally significant city.
