The DBS was created to serve this generation by offering accessible, dynamic and trans-formative Biblical training. We believe God is awakening our nation and is birthing the greatest missions movement ever seen leading to the greatest global harvest of souls in history! But how can we effectively bring the Gospel to the un-reached without knowing God through His story? During the DBS we go through the Bible chronologically and see how God longs for every tribe, nation, and tongue to declare His glory, know His character, and walk in His ways.

At the end of the 3-month journey through the Bible, students will be given an opportunity to travel on an overseas outreach. Our heart is to go to the least reached nations of the world to partner with leaders who are passionate about reaching the un-reached! We desire for students to not only gain a greater understanding of the Bible but for them to also be able to share God's story with those who have yet to hear it. It is through practical application that students will be able to walk out what they are learning.

During the course of the DBS at YWAM Boston you will:

• Observe the chronology of biblical events
• Better understand each book in its historical context

• Be able to recognize the different genres of literature
• Acquire incredibly useful methods of Bible study
• Learn to present an overview of the Bible
• Be equipped to more confidently lead a small group Bible study
