Ferrier Village is a refuge in Haiti along the Dominican border for orphaned children who have been rescued from traffickers or are at a high risk of being trafficked. It is a home for these children to be cared for and restored to physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health, and it operates in partnership with the mayor and local officials,

Our goal for this trip is not to finish a project; our goal is to see the story so we can tell the story. Since Help One Now works to empower local communities, the work will remain in the hands of local leaders, tradesmen, and laborers.



Because education is one of the most helpful resources in breaking cycles of poverty, the Legacy Collective is partnering with Help One Now to help provide teacher training and salaries. By ensuring that the teachers can provide for themselves and their families and equipping them with necessary supplies and training, we enhance the education they give to the children at Ferrier Village.
