NEXT’s focus in Ecuador centers in and around the city of Quito. We are in our 9th year of partnership with a missionary named Ron Sutton. Part of our strategic vision for this area focuses on the city of Santo Domingo de los Tsachilas near Quito.

The city of Quito has opened a new airport on the plateau located just outside of the city. Ron’s objective is to establish churches in this area now so that in the next several years, as this area grows, there will already be churches ready and waiting to meet the spiritual needs of the people moving there.

In addition to working on the plateau, NEXT is also working in the northeast and southeast areas of Quito to plant and strengthen churches where there is little to no gospel witness.
