Sign up this week (Through Saturday the 7th) and get $100 OFF your trip! Here is what we will be doing! We will be heading to Nicaragua on June 25th and Returning on July 2nd. While in Nicaragua we will be spending time in the dump community of Cristo Rey. Most of the families in this area find their living by working in the trash dump and factories. We have started to develop relationships in this community and had the incredible opportunity to provide an education for so many children. On our last visit we spent time figuring out what these kids wanted to be when they grew up! Doctors, Translators, Teachers, Police, etc. We are will be hosting an after school program that will help children catch a vision for their futures. We are planning a fun program with basic training in the areas that the kids want to learn. For instance kids who are interested in being doctors will get to do some basic first aid training! We will also be working with a specialized group of children in the community with hearing or vision issues. There is very little aid in this specific area for children who have disabilities of this nature. There will also be time for us to get to explore the beauty of Nicaragua. We are planning a fun day at the end of the trip to San Juan del Sur to take a trip on a Pirate Ship and see the incredible Pacific Coast of Nicaragua!
