About this trip

This is an opportunity for NW Arkansas community members to visit Haiti and see the work that has been accomplished since 2010.

We will have the opportunity to visit key projects in Haiti to include:

Visit Cap-Haïtien

Visit Ferrier Village & Meet Rosena Joseph: Ferrier Village is a trafficking prevention initiative that is currently home to 26 of Haiti’s most vulnerable children.  Rosena Joseph is the Director of Ferrier Village.

Visit Port-au-Prince

Meet Jean Alix Paul:

Jean-Alix Paul is the president of Esprit de Verite, an organization that has started 10 churches, 4 schools, and 3 children’s homes, including Ferrier Village

Visit Yahve Shamma & Meet Pastor Gaeétan:  Serves as home for 30 orphaned children in Pétionville, Haiti. Yahve Shamma Village is also a community hub, investing in future generations through education and development.

Visit Pastor St. Cyr:  Jean St. Cyr is the pastor of Eglise Baptiste Compasion de Christ and the headmaster of Aclaprotech Academy. Both were birthed out of JP1, a tent city that at one time held over 60,000 people that had been displaced by the earthquake. We are currently partnering with St Cyr in Delmas to empower and resource the teachers of Aclaprotech Academy.

Attend Church at Agape in Petionville

Visit Guibert:  A Community that has benefit from Microloans to start small business & where Help One Now worked with the community to help rebuild homes after the Earthquake.
