LLU GHI SIMS & Adventist Health International (AHI): Uganda Medical Mission Trip June 2023

Working closely with staff and physicians from local hospitals and clinics, our multidisciplinary team will provide healthcare education and assessment to the local community in and around Ishaka Adventist Hospital, Jinja Hospital, and Bugema University.

Our aim is to promote wholeness and whole person care by serving the local patients, community members and local schools by providing the following:

• Health education workshops
  
• Specialty clinics
  
• General Medicine at local hospital
• Heath assessments
• Community-based health fairs in conjunction with local healthcare providers
  
• Women/child education programs
  
• Primary/secondary school activities (VBS, health education)

• Non US Passport Holders: Please email Obed Carrera at ocarrera@llu.edu before registering for this trip.
• Passports must have at least twelve (12) months validity and at least two blank pages.

Background Check Information (For non-LLUH Registrants)
In order to participate, you must complete a background check via CoeusGlobal.com/lluhghi (Enter Order Code: LLUHGHI). The fee to complete this is $40 and should be good for up to four years to use for other volunteer trip opportunities with AHI or LLU SIMS.
