Good evening friends and family!!! My team and I are
20 days away from starting our journey to Athens, Greece. With your help and God's I am fully funded for this medical mission trip. I am at loss of words for truly experiencing the faithfulness of God. I was very self-conscious and contemplating whether or not I should raise financial support for this trip, but after seeking wise counsel, I realized that I need to ask others to join me on this trip. I have learned that this could be your way of going on a mission trip that you do not have the time for, you might not be able to get off work for, or have someone watch your children x amount of days. Whatever it may be, I am so thankful for your willingness to join me on this trip even if you aren't with me physically.
I would also like to ask for you to continue to join me through spiritual support. My trip is May 27th-June 4th. Would you do me a favor and set an alarm on your phone on May 27th (or any other day) as a reminder to pray for my team?
Specific prayer requests over my team:
- for the hearts of the people my team will encounter
- for boldness for my team
- for the health and safety of the refugees coming to Athens with nothing but the clothes on their backs
- for The Holy Spirit to speak through my team, that He would give us the words to say
- for our translators to be able to communicate clearly between our team and those we meet
- for the safety and health of my team, especially with travelling, customs, COVID restrictions
- for miracles?
Personally, would you pray over my heart? I have been learned the seriousness of spiritual warfare. I know my team will make Christ known wherever we go and I know the enemy is threatened, which I have felt heavily on my heart the past few weeks. Would you pray for protection and healing over my heart? And that I would cling to the promises of God? Thank you so much in advance.
Finally, my church is doing a "sendoff" for team members that are also members of Redeemer on Sunday May 15th. I believe there are eight of us and I am so excited to be going with some very close friends. The "sendoffs" will be at each service and I will be at each one. Feel free to come pray over my team if you feel comfortable. Redeemer Community Church is located in the heart of Avondale at 4022 4th Ave. S. Birmingham, AL. The service times are 8AM, 9:30AM (also live-streamed), and 11:15AM. To view the livestream, visit

Joyfully in Christ,
Faith
