BIG NEWS!!! ! I am going to Greece to share the Gospel!! I have joyfully signed up to serve on a short-term medical mission trip from May 27th until June 4th, 2022! This trip will be led by e3 Partners ministry and together we will take the Good News of the Gospel to the people and refugees located in Athens, Greece.
e3 Partners have been sharing the story and message of Christ locally and abroad for over 30 years. Their mission is to
equip God’s people to
evangelize His world by
establishing healthy, multiplying, transformative churches everywhere. e3 Partners has been traveling to Greece since 2016, after the 2015 refugee crisis escalated in the Middle East. In 2017, they began taking medical and non-medical short term teams to serve, engage, and provide assistance to those in need. e3 has continued to maintain relationships virtually throughout the pandemic and this year, they have already had a small team go to Athens earlier this year to reconnect and see any needs we can help meet when we return in May.
When I found out about the opportunity to serve on a medical mission trip, The Lord put an eagerness in my heart to learn more about it. After seeking guidance and wise counsel from my parents and other Christ-centered mentors in my life, I knew The Holy Spirit was telling me to go. Although there were a few bumps along the way, The Lord has been able to faithfully show me his steadfastness and promises to me. I confidently know that these desires in my heart are coming straight from Him. I cannot wait to see how He uses my entire team to further His Kingdom in Greece.
Our team will partner with local churches and believers to share and show God’s love in tangible ways. Each day, I will work with several local believers, including a translator, and go throughout the community, praying for and sharing Christ with those we meet. We will begin the discipleship process with as many new believers as we can, and our local partners are committed to following up with those who make professions of faith throughout the week. We will also be serving through general medical clinics and eye clinics. As a high risk labor and delivery nurse, I am so eager to use any of my nursing skills to provide care for those who may not have any access to medical care. I love that we are working alongside the local churches and people so that they may continue to be a resource and a source of hope for those that we minister to and care for.
I am so excited to be able to go on my first mission trip to serve as the hands and feet of Christ. I truly believe God has put this desire and eagerness in my heart to go and serve the people and refugees in Greece. I would like to humbly ask that you would prayerfully consider partnering with me through spiritual and financial contributions. You can do this by committing to pray for me and my mission team, specifically our hearts for Christ, our health, and our safety--especially with all going on in the world right now. God works in amazing ways when his people pray. You can also give financially toward the $3,400 cost of the trip. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated! The majority of these funds are due by April 1st.
All financial contributions are tax-deductible!If you would include your name in any financial donations, I would love to write you a thank you letter! If you would like to pay by any other means, please contact me directly.
Thank you for prayerfully considering these requests. For more information on this trip, my story, and donations, feel free to contact me directly. I look forward to seeing how God provides as I take this step of faith. Your prayer and financial support will be a blessing to me and to those who have the opportunity to hear the Gospel, thanks to you!
May God bless you abundantly!!
Joyfully in Christ,
Faith
