Change lives to save lives. That's the mission.
We champion the power of
community,
research and
healthy living to bring encouragement to world of MS and beyond. And more than anything, we believe, know and have witnessed how just one person, like yourself, can create a ripple for good. You see, Scott Rampy faces social change at the dinner table every night. Her name is Jo Rampy, his wife who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2002. An advocate for the forgotten, lost and hopeless, Jo is one, who despite MS, crusades onward. The one that sparked a story that stretches beyond the dinner table.
It was love at first sight when, back in their college days, Scott looked up from practice and saw Jo, running the stadium steps. She was the university’s volleyball setter and he the football quarterback. Being athletes brought them together but it's encouragement they offer one another and those around them that keeps them going.
For many years, the Rampys have been free agent advocates, activists and fundraisers working to cure multiple sclerosis. From galas, dog walks, and athletic events, the Rampys combined have helped raise over half a million dollars in their crusade. Wanting to focus primarily on advancing MS research, the Rampys made their work official in November 2011 by forming the Rampy MS Research Foundation.
