Dear Friends and Family,

Many of you already know my heart for the people of Africa and that I was privileged to go to Uganda in 2014 as a student at the University of Oklahoma College of Law. The purpose of my trip back then was to help set up an exchange program with a local law school and support Sister Rosemary Nyriumbe’s efforts at her school for girls. That trip was life-changing and very impactful, however it has always been a personal mission of mine to go to Africa in the name of Jesus. This year, God has opened the door for me to do just that!

I am so excited to share that I will be going on a short-term mission trip to Ethiopia from July 22nd through July 31st! I am thrilled to go with e3 Partners and Watermark Community Church for their 12th year of partnering with Christians in Ethiopia to share the Gospel in local villages and communities. The purpose of our trip is to build relationships and share the love of Christ with Ethiopians who have never heard the name of Jesus. e3 Partners’ vision is to continue planting churches within the unreached peoples of the Arsi Oromo region, and I am so humbled to have the opportunity to help build God’s Kingdom there.

As I prepare for the trip, there are two needs. The greatest need is prayer! Please pray with me for my team, our Ethiopian interpreters and disciple-makers, and the people who will hear about the love and grace of Jesus. Please pray for good health and safety, perseverance for the spiritual battles ahead, and for the Lord to work in mighty ways. The other need is financial support to help cover the expense of the trip. The total cost of this trip is $4,010, and much of this amount is due by July 1st. Will you prayerfully consider investing in my trip? These funds will go toward our transportation, food, lodging, translators, and supplies. Any funds raised above and beyond my trip cost will go toward my team members who have not yet reached their goal and then will be directed toward the local Ethiopian disciple-makers training.
