About this Fundraiser

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

Because many of you since 2009 have supported me, both with your prayers and financially, the Lord has allowed me to be involved 6 church plants in Mexico with e3 Partners. In 2014 you sent me to Shanghai with e3 for another church plant. When I returned from China I thought for more than one reason I was finished with short term mission trips. Over time God did away with every one of those reasons and let me know that He was not finished with my going.

As this became clearer to me I thought “Since I am getting older this very likely will be my last trip.” Because of that I contacted the Manager of Expedition Outreach with e3 Partners and asked: Where is the greatest need? The answer was Nepal.

Because of the obvious need, June 3-14, with fourteen others I will travel to Nepal and meet the local e3 national director at the airport of Kathmandu. He has identified 1 Muslim (Baraji) and 2 Hindu (Teli, Badhai) villages to the south-east that have had no Christian witness. With God’s power and your support we will work with Nepali Christians to share God's story of redemption and how it relates to them and start several house churches in each village. Each of these villages may have a different language.

Challenges to be overcome by your prayers: difficult travel, high altitude, spiritually environment is very dark.

The total cost financially is $3,875.00 which not only covers training, transportation, room and board for myself and our Nepali Christian partners, but also covers resources like translators, Bibles, follow-up materials, and funds for the new churches we hope to start. I am asking our Lord to supply the funds to accomplish this through many of you and also share with you in His rewards for this work.
