Just one year ago, I never imagined I’d be preparing for a mission trip—let alone one across the world. I didn’t believe in God and I certainly didn’t believe that I needed Him. My life was defined by personal achievements, fleeting relationships, and an endless search for fulfillment in all the wrong places. But when my world felt like it came crashing down, I was left with nothing but emptiness.

Everything changed the night I walked into a church, broken and desperate. I expected nothing—but instead, I encountered the life-changing love of Jesus. Since then, He has freed me from depression and hopelessness, and has filled my life with peace and purpose. Now, I feel called to share that same hope with others.

This summer, I have the opportunity to serve in Ethiopia, sharing the gospel and meeting the needs of local communities. Our Watermark Church Team will be partnering with Ethiopian believers, sharing Christ & planting churches in remote parts of Ethiopia where they have never heard the name of Jesus.
