Some places carry a sweetness you do not easily forget, and Ethiopia is one of those for me. When I look back, I think about the joy that filled ordinary moments, the genuine gratitude of the people, and a quiet abundance rooted not in what people had, but in who they are in Christ.
My first trip gave me far more than I could ever give. The Lord used it in such a beautiful way to soften my heart, slow me down, and refocus me on what truly matters. The relationships, the laughter, and the simple everyday moments felt so full and alive, and I have carried that joy with me ever since. Even now, there is a deep excitement in me when I think about going back.
I am so grateful for the opportunity to return to Ethiopia on this mission trip with Watermark. It feels like such a gift to step back into something the Lord has already been writing. This time I will be going to share the Gospel, help build churches, serve the community, and make the name of Jesus known. I also cannot wait to simply be present, spend time with the community, and serve.
More than anything, I am going with an open and expectant heart, excited for all that the Lord will do and the ways He will move.
If you feel led to support this trip through prayer or giving, I would be so grateful. Thank you for being part of this with me. I am going with joy, gratitude, and great expectation for what God has ahead.
