Over the past year, I have felt the Lord tugging me in the direction of global missions. So, the question is, when you feel a call to missions... what do you do with it?

My first thought was, “Okay God, I hear you… but, what does this mean? Do I need to sell everything, buy some sandals and a water-bottle and move to a remote place?” No. Maybe? The real challenge and first steps were making sense of what my specific call to missions looked like.

After months of praying and leaning into this calling to serve the Lord, I have been presented with two opportunities. Ethiopia is the second of two short-term mission trips I will embark on. We will partner with Ethiopian Christians as we do children's VBS & men's and women's outreach. Ultimately, the purpose of the trip is to build relationships and share the Gospel with Ethiopians, most of whom have never heard the name of Jesus. As well as to help fulfill e3 Ethiopia's vision of planting churches within the unreached peoples of the Arsi Oromo.

 I am fully relying on the Lord for strength and wisdom as I prepare for these trips, establish prayer partners, and raise funding. If it is your heart to partner with us through prayer please email me, amc.calledtoserve@outlook.com and I will send prayer requests and trip prayer calendars.
