Since 2007, NEXT Worldwide has partnered to serve pastors to help start or revitalize churches in several villages around Western Romania, as well as helping Ovidiu plant a church in Lugoj, a city of 40,000.

Ovidiu and Adina’s ministry includes a ministry strategy and ministry center called House of Joy, which serves to reach and disciple children, youth and families in 30 surrounding villages, as well as serving as a headquarters for their social outreach ministry to poor families in this region.

Five years ago, the Lord opened the door for me to go to Romania, with NEXT, for the first time and He just recently opened the door for me to go again this summer. Over the past year, God has opened my eyes to so many things, especially to those who do not know Him. I have also learned so much about the Father and how much He loves us and I am SO excited to share His good news and love, alongside my brothers and sisters. 

I would very much appreciate your prayers as I prepare for this trip. Please pray that the Lord would prepare my heart leading up to departure for this trip but also, that when I am sharing the Gospel with the people of Romania, it would not be me speaking but God speaking through me. More importantly, please pray for the people that we will encounter while we are there, that they will have a HUNGER for the Lord and a relationship with Him.
