Hi, my name is Amy Quispe! I am currently a 7th quarter nursing student at Loma Linda University!
This March, I have the privilege of spending 9 days in Peru on a mission trip with SIMS. My family is from Peru so this is a special trip for me. This will be my 7th mission trip with the school! We will be working with ADRA Peru at their Chuquicahuana Training Center & Camp.
ADRA utilizes the training center as a home base for a variety of community outreach projects in communities surrounding the center. Additionally, ADRA hosts several week-long camps emphasizing health themes throughout the year for children, adolescents, and adults in the community. In addition to these service activities with ADRA, SIMS is partnering with the local Seventh-day Adventist church to offer community health education workshops and health fairs.
