99 Balloons is working with Creighton University to help place 3 of their Occupational Therapy Students in India for the Doctoral Experiential Component of their degree.
Students will be in various regions of India for 4-6 weeks total. In addition to experiencing the story of disability in India, students will gain in depth experience in Advanced Clinical Practice, Research, Admin, Leadership, Program Development, Advocacy and Academia. Students create overarching learning objectives. Then they create learning activities that will help achieve each learning objective.
Our partners in India benefit from having Occupational Therapy students who have already completed their Level II fieldwork and have passed their NBCOT practice test. Most of the areas in which students are placed rarely receive Occupational Therapy making this a mutually beneficial opportunity for our partners in India and Creighton University.
