About this Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Angelica Torres, and I’m a P2 pharmacy student at Loma Linda University raising funds for a medical mission trip to Guatemala, where our team will provide healthcare services to an underserved community.

I chose pharmacy to help bridge the healthcare gap in communities that often avoid care due to language barriers, fear of medications, and lack of trust in the system — challenges I’ve seen firsthand within Hispanic communities. Serving in Guatemala is especially meaningful to me because it allows me to return to my homeland and give back in a direct, personal way.

Your donation will help support travel, medical supplies, and mission costs, and will directly impact patients who may otherwise go without care. Any amount truly makes a difference.

Thank you for supporting me and helping make this mission possible.
