Over the last two years my church and five others have put on a camp for foster kids in San Diego. And I get to do it all over again this year!

It's difficult to put into words just how hard and beautiful this week was. These are kids whose life's circumstances have been less than fair - robbing them of their childhood and cultivating a lot of mistrust due to adults who have let them down. During the week we get to show them just how special they are, tell them what God thinks about them and provide a safe space for them to just be kids.

I couldn't be more excited for another opportunity to participate in this camp alongside incredible adults dedicated to "making moments matter" for kids who have suffered abuse, abandonment and neglect.
