God works in mysterious ways. Never before have I had any interest in serving on a missions team, yet here I am starting a fundraiser on Pure Charity to raise the funding necessary for a medical missions trip to Yurimaguas, Peru. My goal is to raise $2,800. Every donation is important and will enable me to be present and help others in need.

As a pharmacy student, health care is my passion. I'm eager to embark on this new adventure, where I know God will work through me, but most importantly, where God will work through the people of Yurimaguas. Despite the impact I will have on their lives, I am sure they will have a greater impact on mine.

Yurimaguas is the gateway to the Amazon in northern Peru, with about 64,000 residents. Not only will we be providing medical care to some of these men, women, and children, we will also be spreading the Word of the Lord and partnering with new believers to establish churches.
