Hello friends and family!

I'm thrilled to share an exciting opportunity with you! As a DrPH Epidemiology student at Loma Linda University with a background in public health and disease outbreak management, I’ll be traveling to Kenya as part of the 5th Annual Student Activities Bucket List Trip with a Mission. This trip is not only a unique learning experience but also an opportunity to give back to communities in need, and I’m seeking your support to make it possible.

From Nairobi to the breathtaking escarpments above the Masai Mara National Reserve, we’ll be immersed in the culture and beauty of Kenya. Our team will work alongside local community members at a women’s health and birth center, engage in community outreach, and serve in local schools, where I’ll be leading a sex education program for high school girls. I’m eager to use my knowledge in epidemiology and health education to make a positive impact in these young lives.

In addition to our service projects, we’ll participate in cultural experiences with the Masai community, visit a local village, and enjoy two full days of safari, potentially witnessing the start of the Great Migration of Wildebeests! 

I am fundraising to cover my travel expenses, and every donation is tax-deductible as a charitable contribution. Any amount, big or small, will make a huge difference and help me reach my goal of bringing essential health education to this community.
