Those who know me well, know that traveling to Uganda has been my dream since undergrad. I was prepared to study abroad for a semester in Uganda, when I realized I could graduate a year early if I didn't do the study abroad. It was a tough decision, but I felt at that time that it was not a "never" from God and just a dream deferred for a later time.
I am thrilled to say that the opportunity to go to Uganda has opened up beautifully. Not only is the timing just right but I have found an organization that truly lives out the call to love others in a way unparalleled to any other organization.
This trip is really special because the organization has safe houses for women coming out of trafficking. For those who know me, you know that empowerment of survivors of human trafficking is my passion. I'm so excited to go learn from an organization that has been doing just that for many years.
The trip dates are April 12th - 21st and the trip costs about $3750.
This is made up of:
Trip fee of $2200 (paid to Love Does)
Flight of about $1500 (paid to Love Does)
Your support, in any form, will be so greatly appreciated.
