Dear Friends,
This summer I will be traveling to northern
Uganda to work with refugees fleeing from fighting in South Sudan. I’ll be a part of a small team with E-3
Partners working in “Camp Rhino,” a refugee settlement located next to a game
park. Currently
there are 1.2 million refugees from South Sudan living in 9 different
refugee camps in the Arua area of Uganda. On this trip we will share the love of Jesus with many
who have lost all they have at a time when they are
desperate to hear that there is hope. Many have never heard the name of Jesus. Acts 1:8 has been on my
mind as Jesus commanded us to go to the ends of the earth. Africa is that for me.
The trip is billed as “extreme” in that we’ll be sleeping in tents and eating
in the camp. Extreme
is a point of view when you think of the 1.2 million who live that way all the
time.
I am writing to ask you to be a part of this.
Will you support me financially? I need to raise $3,900 for the
trip.
Will you support me in prayer?
I need the covering of the Lord and the filling of His Spirit.
Please help us engage the nations through oral story telling and indigenous worship that will result in "Disciples Making Disciples."
Thanks for being a part of reaching these for whom Jesus died!
Ben Hanna
