Join the Village Church - Plano on a journey to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost people along the Amazon River.

Hey friends and family! I have been presented with the opportunity to join a group of 25 to visit the Amazon river June 17-25th and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Lord calls us to go out and make disciples, and spread the good news! I am extremely excited about this opportunity to grow in God through serving others, get out of my comfort zone (sleeping in hammocks on a boat), and share the love of our Almighty Father. On our trip we have the opportunity to participate in various ministries including women's ministry, Vacation Bible School for kids, medical and dental ministry, and teens ministry. We will also be bringing a doctor and a dentist, as well as, medical supplies to help those who need medical care. I am truly excited to just get to LOVE on these people! Things to be praying for:

Boldness as we share our testimony with villagers and encourage those we contact to put their trust in Christ.

Joy as we hold several Vacation Bible Schools, clearly presenting the Gospel Message.

Compassion as we bring medical help and fresh water to many who are sick.

Safety and Good Health as we travel to Brazil and throughout the Amazon River Basin.

Wisdom that we will clearly understand God’s leading and glorify Him in all we do.

Faith that the Lord will prepare the hearts of those we will contact and provide for all our needs and financial goals.
