Help Us Bring Hope to Bethel
Bethel is a precious 4-year-old little girl and the daughter of missionaries serving in the Philippines. She was born with a hole in her heart (SVD), and her condition has now become increasingly serious. She has developed an aneurysm and pulmonary edema, and her heart is working harder and harder to keep her body going.
Her doctors have told her family that immediate heart surgery is needed to save her life.
Bethel and her family face a long 6–7 hour journey to Manila to reach the Philippine Heart Center. Because they do not have a car, they need help covering the cost of transportation, housing for her father and brother while she is in the hospital, and additional surgery expenses in case unexpected complications arise.
Her family has already seen God’s faithfulness in so many ways. They have devoted their lives to sharing God’s love with people throughout their community. They serve the poor, help families affected by typhoons and floods, and bring hope to those who are hungry for the Word of God.
Now, we have an opportunity to surround them with that same love.
Your prayers and generosity can help Bethel get to Manila, help her family stay close to her, and help provide for the medical care she desperately needs.
But this is about more than helping a little girl through a medical crisis. It is an opportunity to let the love of God be seen in a very tangible way—by Bethel and her family, by the doctors and medical staff caring for her, and by everyone who witnesses the kindness of God through people like you coming together on her behalf.
Thank you for standing with Bethel and her family during this incredibly difficult time. Every prayer, every gift, and every act of kindness makes a difference in the life of this little girl.
Let’s surround this precious family with love and help Bethel get the care she needs.
