Hello! I wanted to share something exciting with you. This summer I will be taking a trip to Saransk, Russia!! God has presented me with this amazing opportunity to serve an unreached people group. In Saransk, a very small percentage of individuals consider themselves Christian and I believe God is calling me, and the group I will be traveling with, to make an impact in any way possible. While we hope to share the Gospel to those we come in contact with, we might not be able to share the love of God vocally because of certain laws in Russia, but more so through our actions and serving those around us. We will be ministering at local orphanages, bringing sports activities to parks for the community to engage in, helping people practice their English, and we will even be given multiple opportunities to share our own testimony!

Why is this trip important to me? From the age of 18, when I first acknowledged God's hand in my life, I know God has been teaching me some crucial life lessons. One of the biggest lessons He is teaching me is how loved I am as His daughter! This trip is important to me because I want people from all over the world to experience the same unconditional love God has shown me. I do not know how God will use me on this trip, but I am wiling to play any part in giving people the opportunity to know who my powerful, merciful, and loving Father is!

This year I have challenged myself to be bold! Bold in life, but more specifically bold in my faith. Last year I heard about this opportunity to service in Saransk and naturally I came up with every excuse of why not to go. This year I have decided one way I would practice being bold is by trusting that God will provide both spiritually and financially for me to go on this amazing trip. I will be in a very unfamiliar place and experiencing many different people and a completely different culture. Getting me completely out of my comfort zone and my little Rocklin bubble. New experiences are uncomfortable in the beginning, but I have grown so much from stepping out of my norm.  I am proud of the steps I am taking towards becoming more bold and I know when in Russia God will continue to build in me more boldness through every situation I am in!
