It is probably no surprise to those who know me that I would want to build a family through adoption. I’ve talked about it since I was young. 

Recently I read a quote that adoption is when your family tree becomes a family orchard and I love that idea! I’m so excited to be on this path to grow my orchard! 

I have been doing everything I can to be prepared to welcome home a beautiful new life. As part of my adoption journey, I have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $45,000 or more. This is why I have set a goal of $20,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.

I hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the village I hope to build around this child as he/she grows up.
