Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

I have had the privilege of serving as a missionary at Florida Atlantic University for the past 3 semesters. I have seen God work in miraculous ways and I am so blessed to be used by Him here on this campus. FAU is an extremely lost campus, with 30,000 students in total, and 28,800 of them are unchurched (according to the NAMB stat that says 96% of south Florida is unchurched). However, from what my team and I at FAU have experienced, about 99% of the students here are far from God.  This is heart breaking to me and keeps me up at night because I feel burdened to reach the lost.

I am serving under E3 Partners/ I Am Second as a part time missionary/ church planting movement trainer. My uncle, Troy Cooper, who is a full time missionary (E3 USA director) has sent me down to FAU as a missionary on his team. My vision is to see "no place left" that hasn't heard the gospel at FAU. We plan to achieve this through multiplying disciples and churches. Also, we are starting a "dorm church" (a church that meets in a dorm) planting movement that we pray will grow into having a church on every dorm floor (roughly 75 churches).

So far, God has used me to plant a church in my dorm that is being used for discipling new believers, training them to make disciples, and watching God raise them up as leaders. I met a student named Matt last year who now goes to dorm church; at the time he was very far from God, and had a drug and alcohol problem. I was able to share the gospel with him, and he repented and believed! I was able to baptize him, praise God! I have been discipling him for a year and he is now being used to reach his community and friends. Through dorm church, we have seen multiple lives changed by the gospel and have been able to baptize 3 new believers so far. We are faithfully sharing the gospel every day and praying to see even more lives changed!

I also serve as the outreach director at Calvary FAU, which is a Calvary Chapel Church that meets on campus.My team of trainers and I have recently been asked to train this college ministry,  as well as other churches in the Boca-Fort Lauderdale area. We will train them in how to make disciples and plant churches. I am very excited and humbled to be used to train these churches.
