Over the last three years I have gotten more and more involved at Watermark Community Church in Dallas. This church has had an immense impact on me in that time, solidifying the truth of Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior. As Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” This church has provided me with a Godly community, of which many have become the best friends I have ever had, and encouraged me to continue to seek the Lord. The more I have gotten involved, through community group, Bible studies and volunteering in the young adult ministry, the more the truths of the Gospel have become evident. It is this that has spurred me on to share the Gospel with those who have never heard it.
God has opened the door for me to go on a short-term mission trip to Ethiopia with e3 Partners Ministry and Watermark Community Church this summer in July 2019. We will partner with Ethiopian Christians as we do children’s VBS & men’s and women’s outreach. In Dallas, part of the Bible-belt, there is seemingly a church on every corner. On the opposite end of the spectrum, the villages where we will spend our time have yet to hear Jesus’ name. Ultimately, the purpose of the trip is to build relationships and share Christ with Ethiopians who have never heard the name of Jesus and help fulfill e3 Ethiopia’s vision of planting churches within the unreached peoples of the Arsi Oromo.
Your help is needed in this mission! First, I would love to have your prayers for this trip, for faithfulness and courage in the spiritual battles ahead. Please pray for my team, our Ethiopian translators and disciple makers, and for those that we encounter who will hear about the grace and love of Jesus! Second, I would be honored if you would join me financially as well. Your generosity would be humbly appreciated but not at all expected.
Thank you so much for your prayers and support! Please feel free to contact me about the trip. I would love to tell you more and answer any questions you may have!
