Many years ago God instilled in me a love and passion for mission work and serving those in need locally and internationally.  This passion and calling on my life had led me on multiple mission trips to Honduras, Kenya and Uganda.  Each year I am eager to pray and listen to God's voice leading me on a new journey. I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve with Sole Hope in Jinja, Uganda in February 2018.  This experience will give me the opportunity to learn, serve, connect, and grow my spiritual walk.  My hope is to walk away from this trip with a greater understanding of the problems facing the people of Uganda, an appreciation of the unique culture and country in which they live, a deeper connection to the mission of hope, and a stronger desire to advocate on behalf of those in need.

On this journey I will:

• Visit the Sole Hope facilities and connect with the staff

• Participate in a Jigger Clinic

• Volunteer at the Outreach House

• Explore Jinja town and the Source of the Nile

• Get dirty (there’s nothing quite like the red dirt roads of Uganda)

• Be challenged

• Be changed

• Have a one-of-a-kind experience
