This girl has some huge news.. 

I am going to get to serve in Ethiopia!

If you ask my mom, she can tell you that I have had Africa on my heart since I was about 12 years old. I have always felt a pull and responsibility to do what I can to help on a global level and Africa has always grabbed me. So needless to say, when I was asked to go on this missions trip to Ethiopia, I said YES. 

This is certainly not a trip about me, though. This trip is to expand the Kingdom of God, share the gospel, and to educate on the silent yet massive world of human trafficking. There is a deep need for people around the world, and specifically in Ethiopia, to learn about God, to grasp and hear about the truest form of love that there is, to be educated on human trafficking, and to partner with leaders in the community to start churches and build a community. 

This is a region where most people have already given at least one child to traffickers posing as job recruiters for amazing job they never get to go to. 

I'm so enthused about being able to help others, change lives, and educate the people I meet in Ethiopia, and I wouldn't want you to miss out on that joy either! I would be nowhere without the people in my life constantly supporting me, and this missions trip is no different. By partnering with me and supporting me and my team financially, mentally, and through prayer, we can really be an awesome team and a world and life changing force. 

Unfortunately, as a full time college student and waitress, I really am needing to humble myself and beg for financial support and partnership. I have started a fundraiser on Pure Charity to raise the funding that I need. I have a one time single donations goal of $3900 that will go towards the cost of the mission. It's been my dream to go and serve and I hope that you will consider being part of this opportunity with me!
