Hi.  We are the Tharpe Family.  In 2011, our youngest son was born with an unexpected diagnosis of Down Syndrome.  His little life has inspired us in ways that we could have never imagined.  About a year after he was born, the Lord laid it on our hearts to adopt and more specifically a child with special needs from Chin@.  We began the process in May of 2014 and found our daughter on November 11, 2015. She will have her first birthday on March 14, 2016, and we are praying that we can have her in our arms by then.

Unfortunately, adoption is a very expensive process, and while we have already spent around $10,000 we still have an estimated $20,000 to raise in order to complete the process.  We've started a fundraiser on Pure Charity to try and help raise these remaining funds.

Every donation is important, appreciated, and will help bring us one step closer to having Hai-Leigh in our arms.  Ephesians 3:20 says the Lord is able to provide immeasurable more than we ask or can imagine, and we are trusting that He will provide what we need in the time frame that we need it.  Donations made through Pure Charity are tax deductible and will be sent directly to our adoption agency.
