The Lord has opened a door for me to share the good news of Jesus in Ethiopia, and it is my joy to invite you to be part of what He will do in the villages outside Addis Ababa!
When I returned from Albania in July 2024, I knew my experience with international missions was only beginning. There, I had the joy of meeting high school girls whose stories often intersected with my own, including Orkida (the other girl in my photo!).
Like me, Orkida loved music and language, and she masked insecurity with a bubbly personality. Like most of her peers, she came from a Muslim background and had apprehensions about Jesus. But as we talked, God began to break down walls, and she trusted in Christ. Now—despite opposition from friends and family—she follows Jesus with joy, leading worship at her church (traveling over an hour to get there) and learning how to share the gospel in different languages.
Orkida is just one example of how God uses small acts of faithfulness to make an eternal impact. For her, what started as excitement to talk to Americans ended with new life in Christ.
In Ethiopia, I’ll have the privilege of meeting with many more women and girls like Orkida—many from Muslim backgrounds, pressured by cultural norms, with little to no understanding of who Jesus really is.
Before Albania, I didn’t believe I would ever be called to international missions. Now, I know we are all called (Matthew 28:19–20). And as I study Scripture, I am increasingly captivated by how God desires every nation to know Him, turn from their sin, believe in Jesus, and rejoice in Him forever.
Romans 10:13–15 says: “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved . . . And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent?”
By God’s grace, I get to take another enthusiastic step of faith by going to Ethiopia. But I can’t go alone—I have to be sent. That’s why I want to invite you into the joy of participating with me in two ways:
First, through prayer. Please pray that God would prepare hearts, open doors for conversations, and work in and through our team.
Second, if the Lord leads, through financial support. Your giving helps cover travel, supplies, and supports our ministry partners on the ground.
If you’d like to stay connected with updates, prayer requests, and what God is teaching me along the way, you can join my support team through this GroupMe.
Thank you for considering how you might be part of what God is doing!
