Last year, I had the privilege of leading InOne Music Ministries on a short-term mission trip to Malaysia. During that journey, I gained a deeper understanding of why Jesus traveled through cities and villages—to teach, proclaim the gospel, and minister to the distressed and downcast. I praise the Lord for using me as His vessel to bring people to Christ and to heal broken hearts.

Now, I am excited to embark on another mission, this time to East Asia with e3 Partners. We will enter into this country on 6/28 and leave on 7/8.  This trip presents an incredible opportunity to serve, share Christ’s love, and impact lives in meaningful ways.  Our mission will focus on three key areas:

• STRENGTHEN. We will connect with a growing movement of house churches that was sparked from a previous short-term trip among one of the largest minority people groups in Asia. We will equip and encourage leaders for healthy growth and also try to learn from their faith and perseverance through many trials.

• CATALYZE. We will work with new leaders to try to spark similar disciple-making movements in another city which sits as the gateway to many more least-reached people groups. Pray for God to lead us to workers which we can help equip with tools and vision to advance the Gospel to people and places that have not heard. I have already started training one group online as they did not want to wait until June.

• PREVENT. We will work to strengthen a small church in a rural mountain village. The church was left incomplete when a leader was previously forced out of the region. A prayer request from this village revealed a troubling “tradition”. Families there were selling their daughters around age 12 for about USD $2,750 never to be heard from again. With help from a Christian worker and the small church, less than half of the families are still participating. We will help to raise awareness that human life is priceless and needs to be protected especially from the dangers of human trafficking.   Please pray that we serve with wisdom, love, and compassion as we bring a message of hope and healing.

I was especially touched by the third area of focus.
