Hi friends and family,              

This May I will be joining 99 Balloons on a trip to North India!  While on this trip I will get to experience the story of disability in North India. We will be supporting 99 Balloons’ Global Partners in North India, working with them to provide training and respite services for families impacted by disabilities, assist with medical clinics, and provide direct care for kids with disabilities. Our team will be working with a disability support center that serves nearly 200 villages in the rural foothills of the Himalayas.  

Our team is made up primarily of professionals working with special needs including speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and special educators. Along with providing training to the families impacted by disability, our team will provide direct care for kids with disabilities. I will bring my social work background to the trip and experience gained from working with children who have a variety of special needs.  I’m excited about the possibility of facilitating art therapy activities with the kids. Our team will be coming to support the work of the global partners. I am humbled and joyed to be able to be used by God as a part of this trip.

We will be leaving May 22nd and returning June 1st. I would love and value your prayers: for the kids, the families we will be working with, and for God’s love to be shown.
