I have amazing news!!! I am planning to go back to Nicaragua! I am incredibly blessed to be a part of this mission trip again. My church youth group is sending a team and I feel led to join that team. I had the opportunity to participate in a missions trip in 2017. I learned so much and I was able to see God move in a way I had never experienced before. I look forward to all that God will show me this time.

In Nicaragua, there is a town named Cristo Rey. Cristo Rey is located on a massive dump that is larger than the town itself. Cristo Rey is a town full of poverty, trash, sickness, stray animals, and small houses made out of sheets of metal. The people of Cristo Rey have little food, little water. Despite their circumstances, they are joyful people. My team and I will be ministering to the children of Cristo Rey. We will be leading a Vacation Bible School and telling them about God's love.

For me to take this trip, I need to raise $1,550. I believe that money is just a small obstacle in the way of a big mission.  So if you feel moved to donate, it would be greatly appreciated, and whether it is $100, $10, or $1, anything will help. If you do not feel moved to donate, that is completely OK. There is an alternative way to help me get to Nicaragua. It is prayer. I would appreciate your prayers as I raise the funds and also while I am in Nicaragua. The power of prayer is the most powerful weapon after all. It would also help by simply sharing this fundraiser on Facebook, and other social media sites.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this and learn about the mission in Nicaragua. God is doing incredible things in Nicaragua and I can’t wait to be a small  part of these incredible things.
