In times like these, when Hurricane Melissa has torn through Jamaica and left families without shelter, food, or stability, we are called once again to show up. We have stood in this place before as recent Asheville, after Hurricane Ike, and after New Orleans was devastated by Katrina, and in communities across the country where storms hit hardest and resources arrived slowest. We have learned that hope is not charity handed down, but community built up, shoulder to shoulder, hand in hand. This campaign continues that tradition. We are coming alongside the people of Jamaica, especially those in neighborhoods where aid is not reaching and voices are not being heard. We do not come as saviors we come as neighbors. We gather what is needed, support trusted local leaders, and ensure dignity, compassion, and justice guide every step of rebuilding. Hope is a movement and it moves through us. We are needed again and looking for you to respond as we do.
Thank you for helping make a difference!
