Our Watermark Church Team will be partnering with Ethiopian believers, sharing Christ & planting churches in remote parts of Ethiopia where they have never heard the name of Jesus.

Hello Friends and Family,

I am so excited to share that I am going back to Ethiopia again to link arms with my friends across the sea to share the good news of Jesus Christ with many who have never heard his name. If the first two years were any indication, I expect to see many open up their hearts to hear about Jesus. I can confidently say the harvest and work to be done in Ethiopia, the rest of the world, and right in our own neighborhoods is plentiful. That comes from Jesus’s mouth in Luke 10:2, but I get to see it play out first hand in a deeply unique way on these trips. “The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. Therefore pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.” My hope is to be a worker here in Dallas, but also abroad in Ethiopia again this summer!

Idk if you’ve felt it lately, but God is doing something in His church, creating revival, a return to discipleship, and a call to go and make the name of Jesus Christ known among all the nations! It’s always been His mission for us, but there’s a renewed fervor going about, and I am here for it! After all, Scripture does tell us, “Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”Matthew 28:18-20

We may be doing the first work of sharing Jesus, but it is our brothers and sisters living in Ethiopia in these towns and villages that continue and do the hard work of discipling these people and helping them create or find a local church. ❤ My heart is overjoyed to be reunited with these brothers and sisters from Ethiopia! Mama T and Demeke are truly a testament to living a life laid at Christ’s feet and they bring me an immense amount of joy and teaching! 😊
