One of my most favorite stories in the bible is the Valley of Dry Bones in Ezekiel 37. This story is jeweled with the love Jesus has for us and how powerful He can be. I believe this story is played out in my ministry journey each and every day. I get the honor and the privilege to work in a church where our main goal is sharing the gospel and continually gaining new brothers and sisters in Christ. This year I will be on a journey through Cross Church’s School of Ministry in our Abilities Ministry for people with special needs and Preschool Ministry. Throughout this year I will be:
- Serving at Cross Church Fayetteville in my ministries tracks
- Traveling inside and outside the US to share the good news of Jesus Christ and pour out my heart to those I minister to
- Growing deeper in my walk with Jesus
- Better equipped to serve God in and out of Cross Church
And most importantly, I will be doing with God has called me to do and I fully believe He has placed me here this year to continue to live, love, & look more like Him with each passing day. In the passage of Ezekiel 37 it says, “Then he said to me, “Prophesy over these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live.”” The Lord could have done this act without saying a word but He needed to show Ezekiel the way he could be used to further God’s Kingdom. In the same way, I believe God has placed me exactly where I am to show me the ways He wants me to reach his people and spread his gospel all over the world. Later on, he tells Ezekiel to command the wind to breathe life into the dry bones and give them breath & Ezekiel said, “So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.” The Lord has called me to add people to His army and I have never been more ready to live out the call he has put on my heart. We are precious in his sight and more loved than we can ever imagine, it would be a tragedy to know how good my Lord is and keep it to myself. I am excited to spread the gospel and show others the love of Christ.
If you would like to link arms with me this year, here is how!
Prayer. First and foremost, I need prayers for what God is doing at Cross Church, in our nation, and throughout the world. Jesus wore a crown of thorns so that I may place crowns at his feet. This year I need prayers for all that I will get to do for Jesus but also for all the plans that Satan has to ruin and destroy what God is doing. We know that when God is up to something good, Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Pray for my team that I will be with all year that will also be traveling and spreading the gospel all over the globe and this nation.
Financial donations. As much as I am in love with my call that Jesus has placed on my heart, the bottom line is that ministry requires money. I will be working full time and studying through School of Ministry and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary which leaves no time for another job. If you are able and feel called to give, please fill free to make a donation to my tuition. Any donations made through Pure Charity are TAX DEDUCTIBLE and go directly towards my tuition.
I am so grateful for where God has me right now and all the many blessings that He has already given me. Thank you in advance for the ways you plan to pray for my team and I and for any financial donation you are able to contribute!
