As many of you know, I have a heart for children, especially those with disabilities. I have the amazing opportunity to serve children with disabilities in Uganda this August! My Speech-Language Pathology program at Biola University has partnered with Hope Speaks, an organization providing speech therapy to children in Kampala, Uganda.
1 in 7 children are living with a disability. Hope Speak's main ministry is providing Speech Therapy to hundreds of these children. They teach them to swallow, chew, understand and express language, and so much more. Hope Speaks also includes hosting other groups who help with projects, food for families, children's day camps, and going and serving in the slums.
If you feel drawn to donate, I would greatly appreciate it! I would also appreciate prayer for myself, my team, and the families we will be working with.
Please feel free to share with anyone who would like to participate. Thank you so much for being a part of my life and helping me accomplish something that's important to all of us! God bless!
