Hi everybody! Thank you for taking the time to look over my profile and understand my heart behind this trip!  I would like to start with what God has done in my life and how He has called me to pursue this opportunity!

I grew up in a Christian family and went to church, but never made my relationship with God a priority.  I ran from God and did all that I wanted with no regard to what God had called me to do.

However, God is a good God and He pursued me continuously.  He pursued me until I wanted to pursue Him with all that I have.  The past three years God has been changing my heart and drawing me closer to Him and His purpose for my life.  He has given me a passion for the lost and those who do not yet know Him. 

The opportunity for this trip came about when I felt a tug at my heart for Russia.  I was not sure what to do with this, but one of my friends urged me not to brush it aside.  I pursued my interest in Russia and came across this trip.  I felt that this trip was the one that God was calling me towards because of my background in teaching.

During this trip we will be working with local partners to share the Gospel everyday.  We will be doing this through teaching English through Bible stories.  I am so excited to see what God has planned for this trip and how He is going to work in the lives of everybody involved so that His name is glorified!
