Dear Friends and Family,

I am so incredibly excited to tell you that this December, I will be going on my first mission trip! God has been showing his phenomenal love to me in amazing ways the past few months, and I am so excited to finally be stepping out of my comfort zone in faith, to help show others the love of God, that he's shown to me!

 I will joining an amazing group of young adults from Westside: A Jesus Church, to go to Chiang Mai, Thailand! We will be working with Remember Nhu, a non-profit organization dedicated to ending child sex slavery through prevention.

During our stay in Chiang Mai we will spend time with the girls helping with homework, playing games, and various other activities. There are plenty of projects on the grounds and the home to help with, along with encouraging the staff and bringing some of their long term missionaries a breath of home! While they are at school, we will have the opportunity to visit one of the hill tribes to gain an understanding of what the children are subject to in this kind of slavery, and how poverty in this area presents itself into heartbreaking results. This trip will bring insight and depth to how lives are structured there.

I'm so excited to have this fantastic opportunity to get to know these amazing kids. I know that this will be an incredible, life changing experience, and I can't wait to see God's work in not only the children's lives, but also in the lives of my team and I. I know we will all see God's amazing beauty and grace in ways we never imagined.

We will be there December 27th, to January 6th.

I need to raise the total of $3,000 by December 13th, with 50% of that due by October 27th. This will go to cover the cost of airfare, food, lodging, insurance, ground transportation, and supplies.
