Last Christmas, because of donors like you, CDFI was able to purchase and deliver small cooking stoves to each family we serve in Kenya. The stoves have allowed parents and caregivers to quickly and efficiently prepare meals for their children, without needing to build a fire and purchase expensive firewood. These stoves have been life changing!

This year, with your help, we can provide each family with a quality, stainless steel thermos for use in their homes! Many of the children in our program, because of their disability, have to be served a kind of porridge, which is often enriched with an extra nutritional formula. By providing a thermos, parents and caregivers can prepare porridge once, in the morning, and then save it for use throughout the day. This saves families time and money, as they don’t have to use expensive gas to reheat the porridge.
