This past year God has blessed me by showing me through his provision that I can TRUST the Lord in everything - career, relationships, faith, and opportunities to share my story of grace. In 2016 I had the pleasure of going to Haiti and realized I loved serving people, but had trouble having a desire for international missions. Since I came back, I have had the privilege to lead 40+ men through a biblical 12 step recovery program all the while finding I had a passion and desire to help others find the joy and peace that I have been blessed with. In the past few months, I found myself saying that people internationally "needed Jesus” and “someone should do something” while comfortably staying in Dallas and my comfort zone. I prayed someone else would do the work I saw needed to be done. God has a funny way of working and used others and Jesus' teaching on loving others to point out to me that I should do something and after much prayer and seeking advice from others, that something is going to Ethiopia with Watermark Community Church!

Our mission in Ethiopia is to share Christ's love with the Muslim & Ethiopian Orthodox people in the Oromo Region.  We are partnering with Ethiopian believers to build relationships, share Christ, and plant churches among an Oromo people group that don't know of Christ's love & redemption. 

I am truly blessed that you are considering partnering with my fellow team members and myself! This is truly a team project, and you are essential to the team. First, and most importantly, the team needs your prayers for the spiritual battles ahead. Please pray for our team, the Ethiopian translators, the local churches and church planters that we will partner with, and for God to be glorified as a result of the work and prayer poured into this trip. God will do BIG things in Ethiopia and I am excited that we can be a small part of his story he is writing.

Second, asking for your assistance in raising money is super awkward for me and is the toughest part for me. I am trusting the Lord to provide what is needed and if you are interested in giving financially, please click the link on this page. I have to raise $3,400 which will go towards transportation, food, lodging, translators, and supplies. Any funds raised above and beyond the team trip cost will be directed toward local disciplemakers training.
