As we walked through the villages in the Dominican Republic, the roofs told a story before anyone said a word.
Sheets of rusted tin flap in the wind, held down by rocks and hope. Wooden beams sag under years of storms. Inside, mothers do their best to protect their children from the rain and sleeping on wet mattresses are a fact of life for many.
And so, our construction ministry began.
We tear off broken roofs and replace them with strong, weatherproof ones that can withstand the heavy rains. We reinforce walls that once shook in the wind. We repair doors that now close firmly, offering protection and privacy.
We don't arrive with grand promises or perfect solutions. We come with tools, willing hands, and a simple calling from God: to make homes safe and secure and to share the Gospel and God's love.
Our construction ministry has become more than a construction effort. It has become a bridge—connecting people across borders through compassion, faith, and action. Each nail driven, each beam lifted, each home secured became a declaration:
You matter.
Your children matter.
Your safety matters.
Your home matters.
