A little under 2 years ago, I realized that I had let my relationship with Jesus get to a place that was no longer to honoring to him. I began to pray continuously for God to work in my life and provide the things I needed to not only restore my relationship and walk with him but to grow me in my faith. During this journey, God has brought me to Dallas and introduced several things into my life, such as the need for a strong faith based community. This has consisted of men who actively walk in their faith that not only hold me accountable in my walk but also to push me out of my comfort zone. This is challenging me to do things that I wouldn’t normally think I am qualified for, such as serving on a Church Mission Trip to Ethiopia. We are called to share the good news of the Lord. Jesus tells his followers, “All authority in Heaven and on Earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:18-20
